Guy (Guido) Fawkes was a conspirator of radical Catholics revolting against the protestant Reformation.

By denouncing the Catholic churches interpretation of the bible (collective work over millenia) anyone was free to interpret the bible as they wished. Individualism triumphed and protestantism immediately fractured into a thousand different sects where everyone was free to put their own spin on the bible if they had a charismatic leader. The Sin of Usury Now Celebrated By Modern Christianity
Few sins in traditional Catholicism were more grevious than usury. It had it’s base in Biblical scripture and was a warning at seeing your countrymen as prey.
Do not Take usurious interest from him, but revere your God that your countryman may live with you. Leviticus 25:36
And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Every church father from the fifth to the fifteenth century condemned usury. St Clement, Tertulliam, St Cyprian, Lactantius, St Ambrose, St Jerome, St Augustine, St Gregory, St Anselm. For Thomas Aquinas usury was a violation of commutative justice.

In Dante’s Inferno usurers were placed in the seventh circle of hell. A place reserved for those who commit acts of violence against the very nature of God.
Stating plainly, usurers deserved a far worse punishment than violent murderers, blasphemers and sodomites.
Protestantism’s Break With Usury
But the Church of England was created for Anglo individualism and the burgeoning system of Capitalist exploitation. The Protestant reformation can be seen in light of Christians needing to break with the Catholic Churches stringent proclamations against Usury and allow debt with interest to be issued for capital expansion. The Catholic Churches position on moneylending (Usury) was broken with the Protestant Reformers; Luther, Calvin and other reformers allowed the practice of making money from money which allowed the growth of capitalism in northern Europe. In doing so was unleashed the beastial nature of man to exploit his fellow man and to make money for moneys sake.

Thomas Cromwell’s Subjugation of English and Welsh Catholicism
Thomas Cromwell found the subjugation of Catholics in Southern England easy whilst encountering great resistance in Northern England. East Anglia, Wales and the Midlands resisted ferociously. Sir Robert Aske would raise ten thousand men and occupy the City of York under the Pilgrimage of Grace in response to the Suppression of Religious Houses Act 1535. Under Aske’s rule the Catholic way of life was restored. Priests, nuns and monks returned.
King Henry sent the Duke of Norfolk to negotiate with the Pilgrims, as they called themselves. Upon meeting in Doncaster he was dismayed to see Aske had gathered ten times the men as the King as well as garnered the support of the Northern nobles like Sir Thomas Percy backing the rebellion. A peaceful settlement was made with amnesties in full effect. When the King was in a more advantageous position the amnesty was broken, Aske was executed in York by hanging along with a few hundred others of his comrades.
The Reformation quickly became a money making enterprise due to it’s system of fines and punishments against Catholics. The 1552 Second Act of Uniformity made it compulsory to attend Church of England services. By 1559 a fine of twelve pence was imposed on those refusing to attend.

The Results Of The Reformation
The results of the Protestant Reformation was first freedom from the collective of the Catholic church. With official Christendom; from protestantism to Catholicism, the yearning for “freedom” now seeks to “liberate” humanity from their biological sex, from the “burden of life” and from the human identity altogether.
