Anti-Chinese racism is being actively encouraged in the West generally and the US particularly. The absolute U-turn the media has done since the US set out it’s geopolitical strategy priority is no longer terrorism but ‘Great Power Competition’. Read: Competition against Russia and China.
The rhetoric used in the 2016 election by the now President of the US has amped anti-China and anti-Chinese sentiment and this has since filtered to the public by the many American bots that roam social media. In a now deleted post (but archived on archive.org) Eglin Air Base was the most “addicted city” on Reddit. (1)
The inspiration of this article has generally come from browsing the web in recent times and seeing nonstop racist rubbish whenever China is mentioned.
The Nonstop Pumping Of “One Million Uyghurs” in Camps
I had genuinely thought this was just an internet meme pushed by American bots on reddit until I had a conversation with a clued up friend recently that went along the lines of
Friend: “Have you heard of what’s happening in China with the Uyghurs?”
Me: “Erm yeah but it’s complete bullshit.”
Friend: “What?”
Me: “Yeah. How they came to that ‘fabled’ “1 million Uyghurs” was by 2 studies. One of those studies interviewed a grand total of 8 people and was done by the US government-backed Network of Chinese Human Rights Defenders (2) and the second study was authored by Adrian Zenz, a far-right fundamentalist Christian who opposes homosexuality and gender equality, supports “scriptural spanking” of children, and believes he is “led by God” on a “mission” against China.(3)
Friend: Holy shit seriously?
Me: Yes. Seriously.
A Look At Adrian Zens — One Of The Sources For The “One Million” Figure Who Has Said He’s Been ‘Led By God Against Beijing’
Adrian Zenz has been published in the NY Times and Foreign Affairs and portrayed as a serious China analyst in the BBC and Wall Street Journal.
It seems incredible to me — a far right winger that believes in the rapture and that “he’s been sent on a mission by God against China” can get the air time he’s getting under the pretext of “China expert”. But in the context I explain in the next paragraph it makes perfect sense.
Adrian Zenz is a Senior Fellow in China Studies at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. The Victims Of Communism Memorial Foundation has close ties to the CIA and US state.
Max Blumenthal cornered Adrian Zenz and asked him about his disturbing beliefs (regarding the rapture and his “mission by God against China”) at a press conference to which the media was silent.
Atrocity Propaganda Is A Staple For The American War Machine
During the Cold War; western Liberals that owned a monopoly on the media, culture and organs of the state had to work overtime to present Socialist countries as subjugating their own people. As time went by in the Cold War it led to the farcical claiming that 1/3 of the Soviet Union population were in Gulags (by Robert Conquest). Yet the real figures in prison or the penal labour system(Gulag) never reached higher than 2.5 percent of the Soviet population.
Meanwhile the United States is the most imprisoned population on the planet per capita. It imprisons more people per capita than china, Russia or Iran.
It imprisons more people than the Soviet Union did during the height of the Gulag period (which was during World War 2 when the Soviet Union was clearing out traitors, Nazis and fascist sympathisers).
Over all, there are now more people under “correctional supervision” in America — more than six million — than were in the Gulag Archipelago under Stalin at its height. That city of the confined and the controlled, Lockuptown, is now the second largest in the United States. — (4 )
But the United States does not even have the cover of ridding itself of it’s fifth column in preparation for World War.
It imprisons this many people during the most peaceful time on Earth.
We are often (from far right Americans) used to hearing of the ‘crimes of communism’ yet when Liberalism murders millions of people in wars or turns the United States into a prison and slave labour nation we hear from these liberals that it is “some policy mistake” rather than the ideology of liberalism.
In a word — it is time to make liberals more ashamed of their failed and murderous ideology.
Atrocity propaganda works like this: bourgeois historians in the pay of intelligence services fake research against target countries in something atrocious. Something thatmakes you feel physically sick and gives you a knee jerk reaction of disgust. The West then manufactures consent for a war against this country through it’s media which are all owned by right wing oligarchs who stand to profit from said war.
Those standing for peace and antiwar are then smeared as “Korean/Vietnam/Sandinista/Saddam/Ghadaffi/Assad apologists”.
The bourgeois get their war, destroy another nation killing untold millions and displacing more.
Years and years later it’s acknowledged the war was based on lies and crap.
Some real world examples
- To justify the first Gulf war: The Nayirah testimony was a false testimony given before the Congressional Human Rights Caucus on October 10, 1990 by a 15-year-old girl who provided only her first name, Nayirah. The testimony was widely publicized, and was cited numerous times by United States senators and President George H. W. Bush in their rationale to back Kuwait in the Gulf War. She cried on camera and explained through tears that Saddam Hussein was “throwing babies out of incubators”.
The testimony was fake. (5)
- To justify destroying Libya, which was the most developed country on the continent of Africa before the West bombed it into slave markets, Hilary Clinton told the world Ghadaffi was “using rape as a weapon” (6) and a top US diplomat told the world Ghadaffi was supplying “viagra to his troops”.(7)
This claim was fake. No human rights group could corroborate such evidence. Donatella Rovera, senior crisis response adviser for Amnesty, who was in Libya for three months after the start of the uprising, says that “we have not found any evidence or a single victim of rape or a doctor who knew about somebody being raped”.(8)
- To justify the Iraq war Tony Blair stood up telling the world Saddam had Weapons of Mass destruction with 45 minutes to launch at Britain.(9)
- The Vietnam war was started over a faked Gulf Of Tonkin incident. (10)
Syria, which has had its nation destroyed by the West, repeatedly was accussed of using chemical weapons. As leaks came out the OPCW instead we found the entire investigation so corrupted by United States foreign policy the workers for OPCW had to blow the whistle. (11)
The doctored report was used by the United States, France and UK to justify bombing Syria multiple times.
As we’ve seen above: most modern wars would have been impossible to start were it not for the continued lying propaganda machine we call “the press”. Most people are decent and sane and see war for what it is.
And Just Like That… CIA Operative Rushan Abbas Turns 1 Million Faked Uyghurs Into 3 Million Faked Uyghurs
Just as in the cold war the West published faked data and faked research. Adding ever more zero’s onto the “crimes of Communism” until Robert Conquest was quite literally claiming 1/3of the working age population (30 million people) in the Soviet Union were in prison as he did in the Great Terror.
So too does history repeat itself.
But, as the old adage goes, first as tragedy then as farce.
A ‘Uyghur’ by the name Rushan Abbas did an AMA on Reddit which I wrote a story on. In this AMA Rushan Abbas asserts she is a Uyghur and that “3 million Uyghurs are in camps”. She immediately starts with the comparisons to the holocaust and gas chambers.
Searching for her name pulled up a deleted web page on archive.org showing her CV. In a surreal read she has worked for almost every arm of the United States regime change arm you can think of.
Including working at Guantanamo Bay under George Bush.
Why Does The United States Need To Portray China Like This?
The reason for this propaganda is absolutely obvious and is the same as the historians that were elevated to fame during the Cold War.
Since the early days of the Soviet Union a nonstop propaganda campaign was waged against the Soviet Union. To undermine support for socialism back home was one of these goals. For, why would anyone support a socialist alternative for their remedies at home if it meant 1/3 of the population is in a Gulag? As Robert Conquest claimed. Few people pointed out at the time that Robert Conquest worked for an anticommunist propaganda division called Information Research Department created by the British government.
During its existence — from 1948 to 1977 — the IRD planted anti-Communist propaganda at home and abroad. Many of its stories of Soviet atrocities and anti-British plots were exaggerations of the truth rather than falsehoods; however, the journalists who used them were never allowed to reveal the source.(12)
My teacher told me for instance that the Soviet Union “nationalised women”. All manner of outright lies can be told against countries that the West deems its “enemy”. The retractions are never acknowledged but forgotten. In the rare cases when the retractions are revisited they are relegated to back pages — the population already accepting the lies as fact. These campaigns shape popular perception in the service of political ends and Liberalism as an ideology.
In our collective memories we remember the populations of the West remember (really existing) socialism as grey miserable times. Miserable populations eating proletarian paste with bowl haircuts. Yet sex was better under socialism. (13)A provocative headline from the NY Times but when we delve into the meat of the article we instead find:

Almost every country that says the time of socialism was better than the awful free market capitalism (ie. Liberalism) followed by an outright majority. From East Germany to Russia, to a majority of the Ex Soviet States to Yugoslavia.
An outright majority saying liberalism is worse.
Today Stalin has a 70 percent approval rating in Russia.(14) The internet has frankly done wonders for lifting the veil of bourgeois lies against socialist societies and Stalin in particular.
If you can convince your population that China (or the Soviet Union) is subjugating millions of its own people then not only will you hate their socio-economic political system you’ll hate that countries peoples too.
In a word US is working its population into a war mentality in a black and white world. China bad. We must go to war to protect ourselves and the poor Chinese people! Their throwing babies out of incubators have you no heart!

Besides Softening Up The American Public For War… Why Else Is The US Using Such Blatant Propaganda And Why The Focus On Xinjiang
The focus on Xinjiang is a straight forward one. Just as the United States is faltering China is soaring. The United States did not expect China to win the 5g race. China was meant, afterall, to be a poor nation that manufactured designs for high technology produced and created by the United States and West generally. China under Xi has developed a number of springs which will launch China in the next decade into the defacto global power.
Xis policy of Made in China 2025 will see China become the innovative capital of world producing high technology goods to be exported world wide. The future is Huawei not Apple. This policy will turn China into a “manufacturing superpower”. (16)
Secondly the Belt and Road Initiative will create a new golden age in trade and connect Europe, Africa, Asia and Eurasia together. In a world where the United States essentially controls and safeguards trade via its navy and shipping routes…. The Belt and Road initiative will move the majority of this transport to transport over hland routes via train and rail. The United States is about to get it’s feet cut out from it as it loses it’s position of power of high tech production and of gate keeper of global trade and why it can unilaterally lay siege to countries via sanctions like Cuba, Venezuela and DPRK.
In short, the United States is terrified of being overtaken in all technological, cultural and losing control of global shipping.
Uyghurs, Islamic Fundamentalism and Separatism
The Uyghurs have been selected by the NED to pour money into them because they’ve long called for ‘East Turkistan’ separatism. The NED proudly displays the amount of money it pours into these groups seeking to separate from China.
A staggering $27,306,64.
And by using the phrase ‘East Turkistan” the NED nakedly shows it’s support for the balkanisation of China and the separatists. Xinjiang is a key location and the start of the Belt and Road initiative and thus why the Uyghurs have been selected as the men for Washington.
The Uyghurs have also had a huge strain of fundamentalist Islam through them. Uyghurs have popped up in Iraq and Syria creating ISIS units. They have committed numerous fanatical islam terror attacks against unsuspecting members of the public.
The Chinese had identified poverty as the root cause of radical fundamentalism (as it is in the West where Europeans have gone to fight for ISIS have usually come from especially deprived backgrounds). The education centres provided education and training in various trades to allow poor people to come out and get good jobs rather than dwell in poverty before deciding to tail it to Syria/Iraq and start waving an ISIS flag around while killing civilians.
Is the Chinese method of combatting Islamic Fundamentalism better or worse than the Wests method of rounding them up with out trial, torturing them for years on end or letting other countries deal with them by tearing up their passports when they leave to fight for ISIS?
Washing their hands of them as they play at head chopping bandits in other countries like Iraq and Syria?
Spot The Difference On How The NY Times Reports On China
A Cold War Against China Is Doomed To Fail And Americans Are In For A Rude Awakening
Globally, the world has a higher approval rating of China and President Xi than they do of the United States and Donald Trump.(17)
Coupled with the world considering the United States the biggest threat to world peace. (18)
What needs to be understood by American conservatives and liberals is this: the majority of the world sees China as a great and interesting place with a fascinatingly unique culture, that is the factory of the world producing the worlds goods and hasn’t invaded and imposed its will on another country in living memory. China do business with anyone. They don’t demand they change their political systems or demand the overthrow of their democratically elected government.
A right wing think tank titled Centre For New American Security had this to say about China and the United States foreign policy toward China in January.
Nevertheless, U.S. policy will have to reflect the reality that countries in the region all view China to differing degrees as both an economic opportunity and geographic reality. The same day that report was released the United Kingdom announced its Huawei decision and that it would let Huawei manage up to 35 percent of the British infrastructure. (19)
The British decision was the sticking point. After the Brits announced they would allow Huawei a number of European countries announced the same.
The US is alone in it’s cold war against China.
A Superior Political and Economic System Has Formed One Of The Springs For Chinas Rebirth
A large part of the reason for Chinas success is its economic and political system. (I can hear the grinding of Americans teeth from here at this!)
I know they will scream “But China is a dictatoship!” because they have a fetish for the aesthetics of democracy and not it’s content.
But it might be prudent to reflect that the US is no longer a democracy but passed into oligarchy. The peer reviewed studies from 2 of the best universities of the world make the conclusion which is apparent to anyone with any brains or sense.
And as much as that may upset some people facts don’t care about your feelings. China has retained many of its socialist policies including the 5 year plans. It also has a monopoly on the commanding heights of its economy allowing it to direct state investment quickly and efficiently.
We can compare China to India ( a “democracy”). Indias laws are very progressive if you read their laws. Yet nothing works. What’s more their “democracy” in recent years has descended into fascism. And while our news media focuses on Xinjiang and it’s program to combat Islamic Fundamentalism which is presented as a new holocaust we hear little of the pogroms of muslims by fanatical Hindu nationalists who are beaten to death in the streets.. In other words capitalism in India has decayed into fascism like it always does.
Under the leadership of Mao and the guiding ideology of Marxism-Leninism, China was able to expel the foreign invaders (Japanese/Americans/British and French) and proudly declare The Chinese people have now stood up!
This ended the one hundred years humiliation the Chinese suffered under foreign domination. The average life expectancy in 1949 in china was 39.
What the Chinese have done is the same the Soviets did in Russia… A sprinting and flowering of humanity that did what the West did in a few short decades that took the West 100–150 years.
In Chinas particular case the West is seeking it split up into more manageable and pliable parts just as they did the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. Separatism for China would end in the Yugoslav wars of the 90s and Russia today (with war in Ukraine on it’s border between previously fraternal nations). China is in a much better spot though. Previously Yugoslavia and USSR were declining but now it is the West that is declining right before our eyes. The US is about to have 2 Presidential candidates square off afterall that are both displaying levels of dementia.
What the liberals in the West are going to learn is that it is liberalism as an ideology that is crumbling — not Chinas self-declared ‘Socialism with Chinese characteristics’ which is thriving.
In short the possibility of the emotions of a right wing media manipulated elections would make it impossible for an orange faced, Reality Tv star sex offender to take the highest office in land. Or in the case of the UK a man that once tried to get a journalist beaten up. (20)
As climate breakdown looms on the horizon China is the only country taking serious steps forward on it.(21) Climate change is an existential threat towards humanity and what can the US offer on this, the most crucial issue of our times?
A man that denies the problem even exists.
